THE ATOMIC HEART GAME 2023 site

You Did Not See This Secret Easter Egg In Atomic Heart!

Did you know?
At the start of Atomic Heart, you can see a robot playing a keyboard with a futurustic set of shades and a funky moustache.
Well as Atomic Heart is set in an alternate Soviet Union, of course there would be references to media from the ussr, this is one.
The robot is a reference to Oleg Parastayev member of the Soviet-Russian Rock band Альянс (or alliance in English)
In particular, the robots looks and movements are based on Parastayev’s performence in the Na Zare (or in English At Dawn) music video in which he can be seen having a great time on that keyboard.
Na Zare is the groups biggest hit and one of the popular songs created in the ussr!

I caught that the second I saw it. I was wandering about at the beginning of the game just taking in the wonderful sights (I am a HUGE atom-punk geek) and the second I saw the robot I was like: "That's Oleg from Alyans!" I love that the game designers put that in there.

I spotted it instantly. But only because I was on a bit of a sovietwave kick before picking up Atomic Heart.

That's a little embarrassing, that American found an Easter egg about an old Soviet band, and I, a Russian, didn't even think about it! Good job, comrade!
