I really liked atomic heart. It was a good single-player game. It doesn't have the most replay value, but it's a great game.

The FTC is doing what the Japanese government didn't do; hold Sony accountable. I'm for the merger but I want regulatory agencies to make sure these mergers are in the best interest of Gamers and consumers.

this is all political, and now microsoft as an American company against a foreign one, that is why I thought it was weird that ftc blocked this. our motto is American 1st. smh is sad to be American sometimes 😅

I dont have an XBOX or Playstation but looking at this as a fan of the industry you can clearly see without a shadow of dought that the FTC is trying to protect Sony!

They did it due to the tech being big. But they don't know about gaming in America and the FTC leader is trying to make a name for herself so the buy happened really at the wrong time

We could have a real conversation about the law, the role of the FTC, US Judiciary, Congress and so on. But it's impossible to take the Senator seriously when that percentage is obviously not realistic. That's the unfortunate part. There doesn't need to be politics. Fortunately she has no real role here, unless this is political cover for the FTC to start saying "Huh, we didn't notice Sony had the monopoly." I doubt it. I think this is a Senator looking for an easy score with folks in the state who might be on the fence about her just taking care of local issues. As such, it's easy to ignore.

F $ony, this is really needed and its well over due.
The arguments being made from the blue side are laughable. They are describing what they do.

This deal will close and it could well now have an even bigger impact on the anti-consumerism from $ony and gaming in general. I'm sure they are wishing they just agreed now! 🤣

Iv'e said it before, fan boys are hilarious
Sony buy Naughty Dog in 2001….. Fan boys love it and their exclusive
Microsoft buy Bethesda….. Fan boys hate it and say Microsoft pay to win
Sony get in game exclusive content in CoD, have done for years….. Fan boys love it, saying ''deal with it''
Microsoft may get exclusive CoD content via deal….. Fan boys say ''This isn't fair to PS players''
Sony have paid companies MILLIONS to block games going to Xbox….. Fan boys say ''This is smart business''
Microsoft do the same….. Fan boys say……. ''Microsoft just throw money at companies because they can't make games''

Sony fan boys are genuinely, the most backward, inbred confused species on the planet….. everything they rave about, is a walking, talking contradiction.
It is simply, if Playstation get exclusive games, exclusive rights, timed exclusives, and the power in gaming…. Then it ism all fair and right.
But if any other company dare tries too do the same, they spit their dummies out and throw a wobbler.
They have made THEMSELVES and Sony, go from the power house of gaming, too the joke of gaming, and we are only 2 years into this gen….. on this self destructive course, it will be funny to see where they are in 2 more years.

Nice one man, love your content on the ABK Deal. I have all 3 consoles and a PC. But for the sake of Blizzard IP's especially, I really want this deal to go through. Couldn't think of a better new home for ABK than MS.

Oh boy to me this sounds like an Anti-competitive trust lawsuit is coming against Playstation. Uhm I sure hope that the 3rd party contracts that Sony has had for years doesn't come back up to bite them.

higher prices and exclusives are bad except when Sony does it… how do these losers think they are gonna get away with this?

I do have a question tho if Microsoft is so evil why is Sony in business with Microsoft azure and why does Sony release games on Microsoft windows?

Atomic heart. Good game, imho, despite flaws. Different enough to be interesting. I hope the developers learn from it and deliver something special next time

Sony has worked really hard to freeze xbox out of Japanese games. It is anticompetitive.

Microsoft is based in Washington and she's a senator from Washington.

It's not as much of a gotcha as it seems like. Look up any given senator and I guarantee you their top 10 contributors will be made up of the largest companies in their state.

I don't like that it's like that, but it is what it is.

As always Xbox fans do not understand what they're trying to criticize. They do not have a management issue, they have a HR/Logistics issue (343) and that's their only studio who has that problem. The reason for this is the laws of Washington State (which impacts State of Decay as well) in terms of contract workers, which makes having game dev studios in that state very difficult for bigger teams who need the flexibility. No manager in the world could fix a human resources and legal problem. It's to the point of misinformation now.

Plume, the issue is that you're assuming Sony has actual legal standing with their claims. Spoiler, they don't! The vast majority of legal analyses would confirm this fact. Even if Microsoft wanted to keep all ABK content exclusive, it wouldn't change the reality at hand! Now we know Microsoft doesn't want to take CoD exclusive, but that's beside the point. The FTC case is a loser in Federal Court! Why do you think the FTC filed in their administrative court?
