the voice acting seems… odd

Voice directing in English seems off, or at least the way it is edited.

I hate how the conversation subtitles make the screen dim.

Are the weapons shown in the older gameplay videos still in there? That railgun thingy and the shotgun with the circular mag on the side? The splatter was turned down a bit as well. Shotgun blasts made them splat out white goo…now just sparks.

Ngl if they had more russian/slavic accents the game wouldve been more immersive. Instead almost everyone sounds British/American
